Native Restoration Services
Graf Tree Care is proud to announce that we are now offering native landscaping as part of our suite of services. Native landscaping makes use of perennial flowers and grasses native to the Midwest as an alternative to traditional turf grass or brush. Native flowers and grasses have more extensive root development than lawn grass, leading to more extensive soil development and greater overall soil health. Additionally, these extensive root systems are able to seek out water from much deeper in the soil profile, meaning the days of tedious and expensive watering are over. Because they're perennial, these species will come back every year without the need for replanting. And of course the unique aesthetics and character of native landscaping will provide conversation fodder for years to come.
No matter what the character of your existing property is, Graf has a native landscaping solution to fit your needs. Open, sunny yards can be transformed into butterfly-attracting prairie. Low-lying areas which used to be a barren, muddy nuisance are now colorful rain gardens, bursting with color, and full of healthy roots which wick away excess water. Wasted back yard square footage which was overrun with invasive and unsightly brush can be cleared out and turned into a restored woodland that would make your local forest preserve jealous. And of course, Graf can incorporate traditional landscape elements into your native areas for as groomed, or as "wild" of a look as you want!
Exercise your green side with Graf's new native landscaping services! Call today for a free assessment and proposal!
